(9 May 2014, SHANGHAI )– With their sights set on long-term development in the China market, Jaguar Land Rover China and Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Chery Jaguar Land Rover) officially announce the establishment of their Integrated Marketing Sales and Service (IMSS) organisation today. The IMSS organisation is jointly established and managed by Jaguar Land Rover China and Chery Jaguar Land Rover’s sales and marketing divisions. It will be responsible for the development and distribution of the Jaguar Brand, Land Rover Brand and Chery Jaguar Land Rover Joint-Venture Brands in China.
Bob Grace, Regional President of Jaguar Land Rover Greater China, Chris Bryant, President of Chery Jaguar Land Rover, and Guohua ZHU, Deputy President of Chery Jaguar Land Rover, have jointly appointed JLR China Chief of Staff, Yi LU as President of IMSS. Yi LU will report directly to Mr. Grace, Mr. Bryant and Mr. Zhu. The IMSS organisation consists of five functional structures: operations, after-sales, Jaguar brand, Land Rover brand, and joint venture brand.
Yi LU has also been appointed as MS&S Executive Vice President of Chery Jaguar Land Rover. He will cooperate with James HU, Chery Jaguar Land Rover MS&S Vice President, jointly responsible for Marketing Sales and Service work for Chery Jaguar Land Rover.
The establishment of the IMSS organisation is evidence of both parties’ commitment to enhancing and expanding their operations in the China market, with the ultimate aim being satisfying the demands that Chinese consumers have in regards to their products and services. Jaguar Land Rover China and Chery Jaguar Land Rover will continue to implement far-ranging strategies for the China market. Both companies are firmly devoted to long-term development of the China market.
