November 20th, 2015, Guangzhou – British premium automaker Jaguar Land Rover and Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automobile Co., Ltd. are teaming up to participate in the 13th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition, which opens today. Jaguar and Land Rover, the two iconic British car brands, are showcasing the extraordinary designs, advanced technologies, and ultimate performance of their premium cars, fully demonstrating their commitment to deliver a world-class brand experience to Chinese customers.
Today, Jaguar and Land Rover will bring a strong lineup that consists of new cars featuring more vitality and originality, exciting new debuts and aluminum-intensive cars designed for the 2016 model year, all in a bid to provide customers with the British premium driving experience they desire.
All-New Jaguar F-PACE Makes its China Debut
The all-new Jaguar F-PACE performance SUV will make its China debut at Auto Guangzhou 2015 with its manufacturer’s suggested retail price to be announced there. The F-PACE will be offered in five variants with prices ranging from RMB 548,000 for the Prestige model to RMB 898,000 for the limited launch edtion. As Jaguar’s first-ever SUV, the F-TYPE-inspired F-PACE delivers on the promise of the breakthrough Jaguar C-X17 concept and is engineered to offer speed, fun and fashion together with everyday versatility. Jaguar’s efforts to build a practical family-friendly sports car have enabled a combination of superb driving dynamics with impressive space on the F-PACE, with Jaguar’s Lightweight Aluminum Architecture making the model a distinctive standout in competition.

The F-PACE will go one sale in China by the summer of 2016.
2016 Model Year Jaguar XJ and F-TYPE Steal the Spotlight
Joining the F-PACE will be the 2016 model year Jaguar XJ. Jaguar’s luxury flagship saloon is even more stylish and luxurious than ever thanks to its array of upgrades inside and out. The car features new full LED headlights adding to its already distinctive looks. A larger and more upright grille plus sculpted chrome blades emphasise the car’s mature and prestigious character. Meanwhile, the 2016 model year XJ is built with the all-new InControl Touch Pro system and revolutionary All-Surface Progress Control (ASPC) technology.
Lauded around the world for its seductive design and stunning performance, the 2016 model year Jaguar F-TYPE will also star at the auto show. The addition of on-demand all-wheel drive (AWD) with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) further extends the new F-TYPE’s dynamic capability. This makes the new F-TYPE, more controllable, exploitable, and with greater performance in all weather and road conditions than before, settings new standards for sports car driving.
New Jaguar XE and All-new XF Lead Trends of All-Aluminium Luxury Sports Saloons
Also appearing on the booth is the Jaguar XE, which is the lightest, stiffest, and most aerodynamic Jaguar saloon car ever built. With the new advanced aluminium architecture, it is light, it is efficient and it is extremely refined. It is now on sale in China and offers Chinese consumers a more accessible entry point into the Jaguar range than ever before.
As the leader of the executive car segment, the all-new XF is set to make an impact at the auto show. The car is the second model to be introduced using Jaguar’s advanced aluminium-intensive architecture. Meanwhile, double-wishbone front suspension modelled closely to that of the F-TYPE and Integral Link suspension rear suspension – combined with near-50:50 weight distribution – result in extremely remarkable maneuverability for the all-new XF. The new XF will go on sale early next year.
Discovery Sport and Its Launch Edition Make Debut in Guangzhou
What’s more, the Discovery Sport, which is the second model in Chery Jaguar Land Rover’s portfolio, will appear at Guangzhou. As the first member of the new Land Rover Discovery Family, the most versatile all-terrain premium SUV Discovery Sport has captured the market’s attention since its introduction. Designed, engineered, and manufactured according to Land Rover’s unified global standards, the SUV demonstrates Land Rover’s world-class quality and superior British lineage. The locally-built model also opens a new chapter for the development of Chery Jaguar Land Rover in China. It has quickly gained in popularity following the release of its competitive launch prices on October 29.
The Discovery Sport Launch Edition will also make its debut in China at Auto Guangzhou. In addition to its 19-inch nine-spoke alloy wheels, exclusive door sills, and navigation SD card, the model has its body painted in Zanzibar with black contrast roof, a color exclusive to Chinese customers. The Discovery Sport Launch Edition demonstrates Chery Jaguar Land Rover’s commitment to offering more personalised driving options to Chinese customers as well as its promise to deliver world-class products and services in this market. The Launch Edition MSRP is set at RMB 438,000.
The Local Discovery Sport will hit the market on 28th November. Its retail financing plans will be revealed at the same time. Down payment can be as low as 20% of the total, and customer can also choose the 12-month installment plan with zero interest rate. These favorable plans will create more values for the customers.
