(Chery Jaguar Land Rover) wowed visitors at Auto China 2016 with the global debut of its first-ever Jaguar model – the all-new XFL. It also un-veiled and announced the price of its new 2016 Range Rover Evoque. With new product launches and advanced technologies, 2016 heralds the start of Chery Jaguar Land Rover’s new journey to-wards becoming a leading innovator.

All-New Jaguar XFL Makes Global Debut
The Jaguar XFL, the most dynamic business sedan, made its global debut at the show as the first Jaguar-brand model launched by Chery Jaguar Land Rover. Tailored for the Chinese market, the model has a lengthened wheelbase with an extra 140mm to give enhanced rear-seat comfort. It provides passengers with an unrivalled experience of luxury due to the combination of its new, progressive design elements together with cutting-edge technology.
As the only vehicle in its class using lightweight aluminium architecture, the Jaguar XFL will be manufactured at the recently opened Chery Jaguar Land Rover Aluminium Body Shop. The model boasts an aluminum alloy rate of 75%, which is unrivalled in the Chinese auto market. With optimized aluminium architecture, it achieves a near perfect 50:50 weight distribution that helps improve handling and performance.
With highly competitive pricing, the all-new XFL is slated for launch in the latter half of this year.
2016 Range Rover Evoque and its Pricing Revealed
The trend-leading 2016 Range Rover Evoque was also revealed at the 2016 Auto Show, ranging from a suggested retail price starting at RMB 398,000 to RMB 578,000 for the Phoenix Orange Edition. As one of the most popular Land Rover models, the charismatic Range Rover Evoque created the luxury SUV segment when it was launched for the first time. Now fully upgraded, the charismatic luxury all-terrain SUV will continue to provide Chinese customers with exceptional driving and riding experience.
New LED headlights and a distinctive, newly designed grille make this model extremely attractive to customers. The model also features an abundance of new design elements and technologies, while adding a number of convenient functions in an attempt to further cement its lead position in this segment. Among the user-friendly features, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system offers drivers an increasingly intuitive experience.

Chery Jaguar Land Rover continues to grow in sales volume, with even higher rate in the first quarter of 2016. Two released products Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport are increasingly recognized by consumers, which facilitates the improved sales of Jaguar and Land Rover brands in China. Data has shown that among all Jaguar Land Rover vehicles sold in China in 2016, half are locally produced.
