ABOUT JAGUAR
LAND ROVER

As the UK’s largest car manufacturer, Jaguar Land Rover announced its global Reimagine strategy in 2021 to deliver a sustainability-rich vision of modern luxury by design. In 2023, Jaguar Land Rover unveiled its latest initiatives for its “Reimagine” strategy - its House of Brands approach and electrification roadmap, to accelerate its transition to become the world’s leading modern luxury car manufacturer. By shifting to the House of Brands approach, JLR will amplify the unique character of each of our brands, accelerating the delivery of the company’s vision.

Set against a canvas of true sustainability, Jaguar Land Rover will become a more agile creator of the world’s most desirable luxury vehicles and services for the most discerning of customers. Electrification is central to this strategy, and before the end of the decade, JLR will transform into an electric-first modern luxury business, with our Range Rover, Discovery, and Defender collections each having a pure electric model, and Jaguar being entirely electric.

At heart we are a British company, with two design and engineering sites, three vehicle manufacturing facilities, an engine manufacturing centre, and a battery assembly centre in the UK. We also have vehicle plants in China (a joint venture), Slovakia, Austria (contract manufacturing with Magna Steyr), India (contract manufacturing with Tata Motors Ltd) and Brazil, as well as seven technology hubs across the globe.
